Furniture and Equipment Hire

School furniture and equipment dating from the 1880s through to the 1960s is available for hire by commercial film companies. Items include teachers’ desks, student desks, blackboards, old maps, inkwells and slates. It is the hirer’s responsibility to collect and return items to the NSW Schoolhouse Museum and to protect items whilst in transit and during the hire period. Collection and return can only be after 2.00pm on weekdays.

Hire prices depend on use and length of hire. Being a heritage collection, each hire request is assessed on an individual basis. Please email for availability and pricing. Include:
